Shuja-ud-daulah and Shah Alam signed treaties at Allahabad with Robert Clive in the year 1765 . These treaties were signed after Battle of Buxar. In this Battle, English have defeated unified forces of Shuja-ud-daulah, Shah Alam and Nawab of Bengal.
Under this treaty, Shah Alam granted the East India Company Diwani rights of BengalBihar-Orissa. Allahabad and Kora were taken from Shuja-ud-daulah. This battle led to the establishment of British Rule in India.
