Atal Bhujal Yojana (ABY) is related to ground water. It was launched on December 25, 2019. The objective of the programme was to lay emphasis on the recharge of groundwater resources and improve the exploitation of the groundwater resources. It is implemented by Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. It covers the State of Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
