Indian diplomat Vidisha Maitra was elected to the United Nations Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) in November 2020. The ACABQ is a subsidiary organ of the UNGA. It performs several functions including the examination of the budget submitted by the UN SecretaryGeneral to the General Assembly and advising the Assembly on administrative and budgetary matters referred to it.
