Sarojini Naidu presided over the Indian National Congress session in 1925 which was held at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. She has played very significant role in the freedom movement. She also took part in the Round Table Conference, Civil-disobedience movement, etc.
She also became first woman Governor of Indian State after Independence.
