Cost price of 1 banana = Rs.

Profit % =

33 1/3=100/3%

⇒ Selling price =

1/4+(100/{3×100}×1/4)

1/4+1/12=Rs. 1/3

∴ Number of bananas that must be sold for a rupee =

1/{1/3}=3
