Let the diagonal of the square be $\mathit{d}\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$.
According to the question,
Area of the square
$\Rightarrow \frac{1}{2}{\mathit{d}}^2=12{\mathit{c}\mathit{m}}^2$
${\mathit{d}}^2=24\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
Since, radius of the circle $=$ diagonal of the square.
$\therefore {\mathit{r}}^2={\mathit{d}}^2=24\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
$\therefore$ Area of the circle $=\mathit{\pi }{\mathit{r}}^2$
$=24\mathit{\pi }{\mathit{c}\mathit{m}}^2$
