Solution:

Total distance covered = 368 km
He rides for 5 hours at a speed of 49 km/hr
⇒ Distance covered = 5 × 49 = 245km
Distance left = 368 - 245 = 123 km
∴ Speed he should travel for the remaining 3 hours of the journey =

123/3=41

km/hr
