Solution:

(3) Let the total distance be 4x km.
Time

= { { \Distance }}/{ { \Speed }}

According to the question,

{x}/{10}+ {3 x}/{12}=7

⇒{x}/{10}+ {x}/{4}=7

⇒{2 x+5 x}/{20}=7

⇒ 7 x=7 × 20

∴

x= {7 × 20}/{7}=20 {km}

{PQ}=4 x=4× 20=80 {km}
