Solution:

(1) C.P. of article

= {100}/{100- {\loss} { \percent }} × {S.P}

= {100}/{100-15} × 102=

Rs. 120
On selling at Rs. 134.40,
Gain = Rs. (134.4 – 120) = Rs. 14.4
∴ Gain percent

= {14.4}/{120} × 100=12 \%
