Solution:

(2) In 20 litres of mixture,
Alcohol

⇒{20 × 20}/{100}=4

litres
Water

⇒ 20-4=16

litres
On adding 4 litres of water,
Quantity of water Þ 16 + 4 = 20 litres
Quantity of mixture = 24 litres
∴ Required percent

= {4}/{24} × 100= {50}/{3}=16 {2}/{3} \%
