Area of the shaded region

= \π ( { R } _ { 1 } ^ { 2 } - { R } _ { 2 } ^ { 2 } )

= \π ( { R } _ { 1 } + {R } _ { 2 } ) ( { R } _ { 1 } - { R } _ { 2 } )

=\π× 90 × 46

= 4140 \π { sq. } { cm } .
