Solution:

(4) Volume of water filled by pipe in 30 minutes

= ( {40× 1000000}/{2} )

cu.cm
= 20000000 cu. cm.
∴ Height of water leve

= {20000000}/{8000 × 4000}= {5}/{8} {cm}
