Solution:

Two consecutive odd integers are

(2x -1), (2 x + 1)

[x = any integer]
Squaring both we get

(2 x + 1)^2 =4x^2+ 4 x+ 1

(2 x - 1)^2 = 4x^2-4 x + 1

difference

= 4x^2+ 4 x+ 1

-4 x^2+ 4 x -1= 8x

8x

is always divisible by 8
