20 workers can finish a piece of work in 30 days.After how many days should 5 workers leave the jobso that the work is completed in 35 days.

Solution:

M_1 D_1 = M_2D_2

Let after x days 5 workers leave.

⇒20 ×30 = 20 × x + 15 ×(35 - x)

⇒ 600 = 20x + 525 - 15x

⇒ 5x = 75

⇒ x = 15 day
