How many numbers are there from 300 to 700 which are divisble by 2, 3 and 7 ?

Solution:

Let n numbers be divided by 2, 3 and 7.
LCM of 2, 3 and 7 = 42
The first number divisible by 42 = 336
The last number divisible by 42 = 672

T_n = a + ( n - 1) d

⇒

672=336 + ( n - 1) × 4 2

⇒

3 3 6 = (n -1)x 4 2

⇒

n - 1 = 8

∴

n = 9
