Bal Gangadhar Tilak born as Keshav Gangadhar Tilak, was an Indian nationalist, teacher, social reformer, lawyer and an independence activist. He was the first leader of the Indian Independence Movement. He has been conferred as 'Lokmanya' in the Home Rule Movement.
