Solution:

PQ^2 = PR^2 + QR^2 = 3^2 + 4^2

⇒

PQ^2 = 9 + 1 6 = 2 5

⇒

PQ=√25∴PQ=5\cm

⇒

RS ={ PR × QR }/{PQ}={3 ×4}/5

∴

RS=12/5\cm
