The Ganges Delta is the world’s largest delta. Also known as the Ganges–Brahmaputra Delta, the Sunderbans Delta, or the Bengal Delta, it is a river delta in Bengal, consisting of Bangladesh and the state of West Bengal, India. It empties into the Bay of Bengal.
