Expenditure of Ramdin $=8\mathit{y}$
According to the question,
Aswath save $25\%$ of his income
$12\mathit{x}-15\mathit{y}=12\mathit{x}\times \frac{25}{100}$
$\Rightarrow 12\mathit{x}-15\mathit{y}=\frac{12\mathit{x}}{4}=3\mathit{x}$
$\Rightarrow 12\mathit{x}-3\mathit{x}=15\mathit{y}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{\mathit{x}}{\mathit{y}}=\frac{15}{9}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{5}{3}=\frac{\mathit{x}}{\mathit{y}}$
Savings of Aswath $=12\mathit{x}-15\mathit{y}$
$=12\times 5-15\times 3$
$=60-45=15$
Savings of Sunita $=9\mathit{x}-9\mathit{y}$
$\Rightarrow =9\times 5-9\times 3$
$\Rightarrow =45-27=18$

$\Rightarrow =7\times 5-8\times 3$
$\Rightarrow =35-24=11$
Ratio of savings $=15:18:11$
