Solution:

Total number of girls in, B, C, and

D=80+104+98=282

Total students in Section A

=800 × \;{20}/{100}=160

Number of boys in Section A

=160-102=58

Total students in Section B

=800 × \;{18}/{100}=144

Number of boys in Section

B=144-80=64

Total student in Section

D=800 × \;{17}/{100}=136

Number of boys in Section

D=136-98=38

Total number of boys

=58+64+38=160

∴

Required percentage

\;\; =\;{(282-160)}/{160} × 100

\;\; =\;{122}/{160} × 100=76.25 \%
