Again, according to the question,
$252=14\times 5+14\times 1+8\times \mathit{x}$ day

$\Rightarrow 252-70-14=8\mathit{x}$
$\Rightarrow 168=8\mathit{x}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=21$
$\therefore$ Number of days required to done remaining work is 21 days.
Now, total days $=21+5+1=27$ days.
