Legendary footballer Subimal (Chuni) Goswami, who captained India to Asian Games gold in 1962, passed away on April 30, 2020. He scored nine goals in 30 international appearances. He was also a first class cricketer, playing Ranji Trophy for Bengal. Pradip Kumar Banerjee was an Indian professional footballer who played as a striker for the India national football team, passed away on March 20, 2020. He also captained the national team and later on became the coach of the national team.
