If the measure of three angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5, then the triangle is :

Solution:

Angles of triangle = 2x°, 3x° and 5x° (let)
∴ 2x° + 3x° + 5x° = 180°
⇒ 10x° = 180°
⇒ x° =

{180}/{10}

= 18°
Angles of triangle = 2x = 2 × 18 = 36°,
3x = 3 × 18 = 54°,
5x = 5 × 18 = 90°,
Hence, it is a right angled triangle.
