∴ Aanshi’s present age= (x – 5) years
According to the question,
x + 20 = 2 (x – 5 – 5)
⇒ x + 20 = 2x – 20
⇒ 2x – x = 20 + 20
⇒ x = 40
∴ Binny’s age 8 years hence
= 48 years
