Solution:

(d) The total number of wheels

=120

Let the number of six-wheelers

=n

Then, the number of four-wheelers

={3}/{2} n

Therefore,

6 n+4({3}/{2} n)=120 &

⇒ 6 n+6 n=120

⇒ 12 n=120

⇒ n=10

So, the number of six-wheelers in the garage

=10
