(a) The Rowlatt Satyagraha: Gandhiji initiated a nationwide satyagraha (peaceful civil disobedience movement) against the Rowlatt Act on 6th April 1919.
The Non-Cooperation Movement : It was propelled under leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and the Indian National Congress on September 1920.
The Salt March or March to Dandi : It began on March 12, 1930 and continued till April 6, 1930. It was a 24-day non-violent march led by Mahatma Gandhi.
Quit India Movement : On 8 August 1942 at the All-India Congress Committee session in Bombay, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi launched the 'Quit India' movement.
