(c) Siraj ud-Daulah became the Nawab of Bengal after the death of Alivardi Khan in 1756 . He was the last self-governing Nawab of Bengal. He succeeded Nasiri Dynasty and took powers of nawab. Alivardi Khan served as the Nawab of Bengal from 1740 to 1756.
