Solution:

(3) Printed price = Rs. 900
On 40% discount

=900- {900× 40}/{100}=900-360

C.P. = 540
S.P. = 900
Profit = 900 – 500 = 360

{\Gain} \%= {360 × 100}/{540}

= {200}/{3}=66 {2}/{3} \%
