(1) Materials which are attracted by magnets are called magnetic materials. Examples include : iron, nickel and cobalt. Magnetic materials are always attracted to magnets. A magnetic material will be attracted to both poles of the magnet.Similarly, if a material gets attracted towards the magnet, then itis categorized as a magnetic material. Only magnets can repel each other.
