Solution:

(2) At 6 o’clock, the angle between both the hands of a clock is 180°.
In ‘t’ minutes, the hour hand is at (180 + 0.5t)° and the minute hand is at 6t°
They should be meeting each other, so 180 + 0.5t = 6t
⇒ 5.5t = 180
⇒

t=32 {4}/{5.5} \min =32 \min 44 \sec

So the hands of the clock meet at 6 : 32 : 44.
