Solution:

(3) Let the length of each side of the equilateral triangle be s units.
Area is

a = \ { √{ 3 } }/ { 4 } s ^ { 2 }

and height will be

b = √ { { 3 } }/ { 2 } s

and hence,

{ b ^ { 2 } }/ { a } = { ( {√{ 3 } }/ { 2 } s ) ^ { 2 } } /{ { √ { 3 } }/ { 4 } s ^ { 2 } } = √ { 3 }
