∴ { x } + { y } = { 15 }/ { 3 } = 5 { kmph }

x - y = { 15 }/15/ { { 2 } } = 2 { kmph }

On adding,

2 { x } = 7 ⇒{ x } = { 7 }/ { 2 } = 3.5 { kmph }
