Solution:

Let the marked price of cupboard

=100x

Then after 15% discount its value

=85x

Then again after 5% more discount its value

=85x×[1−(5{/}100)]=80.75x

x=6460{/}80.75

=80

Hence, the marked price of cupboard =100x=100×80

=\Rs. 8000
