Solution:

If the CP of 1 chair be x, then CP of 1 table

=(x+210)

Thus,

5 x+3(x+210)=3110

=5 x+3 x+630=3110

8 x=3110-630=2480

Thus,

x=\;{2480}/{8}=310

Thus, CP of two tables and two chairs

2(x+x+210)=4 x+420

=4 x 310+420=

Rs. 1660
