Solution:

(a) Let the number be z. Now

385 = 5 × 7

×11

x = 11 × 102 + 10 = 1132

y = 7x + 6 = 7 × 1132 + 6 = 7930

z = 5y + 4 = 5 × 7930 + 4 = 39654
