Mango is the favourite fruit of 50% of the people from village C. People having their favourite fruit as mango from village C form approximately what per cent of the people having their favorite fruit as mango from all the villages together?

Solution:

(d) No of persons from village C= 32% of 5800 = 1856
From village C 50% of 1856 = 928 persons favourite fruit is mango.
28% of 5800 = 1624 people’s favourite fruitis mango
∴ Required %

=928/1624× 100 ≈57%
