Solution:

(3.7)^x = (0.037)^y =10000

⇒(3.7)^x = 10^4 and(0.037)^y =10^4

⇒37 =10^{4/x} = and 37= 10^ {4/y+3}

=10^{4/x +1}=10 ^{4/y + 3}⇒ 4 /x+=4/y+3

∴4/x-4/y=3-1⇒1/x-1y=1/2
