The members of the constituent assembly were elected by the Provincial assemblies by method of single transferable vote system of proportional representations. Members of the committee: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, K. M.Munshi,Acharya J.B kriplani . Lok Nayak Jai Prakash was not the member of the constituent assembly.
