Solution:

∵1.\ov34 ={ 134-1}/99=133/99

and

4.\ov12= {412- 41 }/90=371/ 90

∴ 1.\ov34 +4.\ov12= 133 /99+371/90= {1330+ 4081}/ 990

=5411/990= 5 461/990
