The sum of 15% of a positive number and 10% of the same number is 70. What is twice of that number?

Solution:

⇒{x×15}/100+{x× 10 }/100=70

⇒{15x}/100+ {10x}/100= 70

⇒{25x}/100= 70

∴x ={70× 100 }/25=280

∴Double of given no. = 280 × 2 = 560
