Solution:

(1) Rate = 20% per annum= 5% per quarter
Time = 2 quarters

∴A = P [1+R/100]^T

= 14500 [1+5/100]^2

= 14500 [1+1/20]^2

=Rs.[14500×21/20×21/20]

=Rs.15986.25
