When profit is 4% =

= x

+ { 4 x }/ { 100 } = \ { 104 x }/ { 100 }

When profit is

6 \% = { SP } _ { 2 } = { x }

+ { 6 x } /{ 100 } = { 106 x } /{ 100 }

Difference

= 3

⇒ { SP } _ { 2 } - { SP } _ { 1 } = 3

\⇒{ 106 x } /{ 100 } - { 104 x }/ { 100 } = 3

⇒ 2 x = 300

x = 150

Ratio

= \ { \ { SP } 1 }/ { \ { SP } 2 } = \ { 150 \× 104 } /{ 150 \× 106 } = \ { 52 }/ { 53 }
