Deksha borrowed ` 500 at 5% per annum simple interest. What amount (in rupees) will she pay to clear her debt after 4 years?

Solution:

(3) Principal = 500, Rate of Interest= 5% p.a. at S.I, Amount = ? , Time= 4 years
S.I.

= { P \× R \× T } /{ 100 } = { 500 \× 5 \× 4 }/ { 100 } = 100

A = P + S .I .

= 500 + 100 = 600
