Profit is 25%, So S.P. = ₹ 125 Let marked price = x on which 25% discount is given.
∴ 75% of x = 125
$\Rightarrow \frac{75\mathit{x}}{100}=125$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=\frac{125\times 100}{75}=\mathit{₹}\frac{500}{3}$
Now, 10% discount is given on marked price.
∴ New S.P. = 90% of x
$=\frac{90}{100}\times \mathit{₹}\frac{500}{3}=\mathit{₹}150$
∴ Profit =₹ (150 – 100) =₹ 50
$\therefore \mathit{P}\mathit{r}\mathit{o}\mathit{f}\mathit{i}\mathit{t}\%=\frac{\mathit{P}\mathit{r}\mathit{o}\mathit{f}\mathit{i}\mathit{t}\times 100}{\mathit{C}}.\mathit{P}.\%$
$=\frac{50\times 100}{100}\%=50\%$
