(2) Harsha vardhana was an Indian emperor who ruled northern India from 606 to 647 AD from his capital Kanauj. He belonged to PushyabhutiDynasty. The Chinese traveller Hieun Tsang visited the court of Harsha and wrote a very favourable account of him, praising his justice and generosity.
