Solution:

(3) Let the numbers be x and y. So,

(x+ y) ^2=4xy

⇒x ^2+y^2+ 2xy -4xy= 0

⇒(x -y)^2 =0

⇒x -y =0

⇒x= y
Hence the ratio is

x/ y=y/y=1 :1
