a+1/b=1 \and b+1/c=1

b=1-1/c

So,

a+1/{1-1/c}=1

⇒a+c/{c-1}=1

⇒a=1-c/{c-1}

⇒a={c-1-c}/{c-1}=-1/{c-1}

So,

c+1/a=c+(1/{1/c-1})

=c-(c-1)

=c-c+1

=1
