A can do a work in 20 days and B can do the same work in 30 days. In how many days can A and B together do the work ?

Solution:

A's 1 day's work

=1/20

B's 1 day‘s work

=1/30

(A + B)'s 1 day's work

=(1/20+1/30)=5/60

∴ Both A and B will finish the work in

60/5=12 \days
