दिया गया है,

x^{3}+y^{3}=9 ; x+y

=3

\∵x^{3}+y^{3}=(x+y)^{3}-3 x y(x+y)

\⇒9=(3)^{3}-3 x y(3)

\⇒9=27-9 x y

\⇒9 x y=27-9=18

\⇒x y={18}/{9}=2
