=(1-\cos ^{2} \θ)(\cot ^{2} \θ+1)-1

=\sin ^{2} \θ\. {\cosec}^{2} \θ-1

[\∵{\cosec}^{2} \θ-\cot ^{2} \θ=1, \sin ^{2} \θ+\cos ^{2} \θ=1]

=1-1=0
